My name is Mary Dallao and I’ve been a member of Peace for a little over two years. I’m also Council secretary and a proud member of the Racial Justice Team. I enjoy belonging to our church because I am inspired by the many wonderful acts of service our church performs despite being a relatively small congregation. I also love that many generations are represented at Peace, and everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. It is great to be in community with such a good group of people.

When I’m not at church, I live in Arlington with my family: husband Dan Manchester; sons Evan (14) and Aaron (11); and our Australian Cattle Dog Mix Louie (1 ½).

I work in the field of Transportation Demand Management as Director of Active Transportation Programs for Arlington County Commuter Services. We focus on promoting and encouraging biking and walking as healthy, environmentally friendly active transportation choices with an emphasis on reducing single-occupancy car trips when possible.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, running, biking, reading, and spending time with my family.
