Minister of Children, Youth, and Families
Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, a neighborhood church located on the western edge of Alexandria, is searching for a Minister of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) to support and assist the Pastor, staff, and the congregation in the proclamation of the Gospel through care and attention to the spiritual growth of young people and their parents in these areas: Christian Education, Service, Fellowship, and Community Outreach. The Minister of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of the CYF program at Peace Lutheran Church. They shall create opportunities between God’s people for the upbuilding of the kingdom of God at Peace and in Peace’s neighborhood.
PELC is looking for someone with a heart for serving people of all ages, ethnicities, gender understandings, sexual orientations, socioeconomic positions, faith backgrounds, citizenship levels, and/or family dynamics.
