Stu Whitehead has been a member at Peace since 2018 and served on its council since 2020. He is originally from Illinois, before moving to Vermont at a young age. He went back to the midwest for college at Purdue; he then moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and earned his Ph.D. in chemistry. He currently works for the Navy as a scientist in chemical manufacturing and lives in Alexandria with his wife, Marissa, and their young pitbull mix, Stevie. Although he is relatively new to church, he draws inspiration from the community at Peace and is dedicated to ensure that all people are welcome at Peace.
