Congregational Meeting

A Congregation Meeting will take place on Sunday, May 1, following the 10:30 service. Two items are on the Agenda: (1) Approval of the Nominating Committee candidates who will select nominees for the Congregation Council to replace those members who are retiring from Council.  (2) Election of Peace's delegates to the Synod Assembly. All are welcome to attend.

Holy Land Olive Wood Crafts

On Sunday May 22, Peace will host a display of handmade olivewood religious carvings from Bethlehem and Jerusalem available for purchase. These carvings include olive wood nativity sets, crosses, Christmas ornaments, candle holders, angels and many other religious crafts that make nice wedding, baptism, Easter, and especially Christmas gifts. Public Lament for Violence

We have expanded the fellowship following the 10:30 service this Sunday, May 29, to include lament for those killed in Buffalo, Laguna Woods, and Uvalde. DC Pride Parade and Festival

Save the Dates: the DC Pride Parade and Festival is happening on June 11-12. June 11th, starting at 3:30 pm - synod church groups are invited to meet up at Augustana Lutheran. The Pride festival will be June 12th, starting at noon on Pennsylvania Ave. All are welcome to join and show their colors.

Brass of Peace Concert
