Josh Keiter, Parish Administrator, comes to Peace as a lifelong Lutheran—both his parents are Lutheran pastors. Growing up, some of his earliest and fondest memories of helping out at church include folding bulletins on Saturday night, and sitting with his mother on the organ bench as she played for services. Josh recently moved to NOVA with his spouse Lydia—also a Lutheran pastor!—from his hometown outside Philadelphia, PA, and is excited to serve as parish administrator for the congregation at Peace
Josh taught college English courses for more than ten years after earning degrees at Wittenberg University, Kent State, and SUNY Binghamton. More recently Josh has worked in public libraries and the theatre, having acted in and directed a number of community and children’s theatre productions, bringing joy and the power of story to those who need it most. He also has been known to sing in the choir, play guitar, and write poems.
