Sunday School is at 9:30 am Sundays during the school year and is offered for children from age 4 years old through high school.
- Preschool and elementary school-aged children are taught from the Spark Lectionary series. The Spark Lectionary is a three-year curriculum, with fall, winter, and spring quarters each year. The lessons correspond to the Revised Common Lectionary—helping kids get more out of both worship and Sunday school. They also have special music time on the first and third Sundays of the month.
- 6th – 8th graders are in Confirmation Class on Sunday mornings. In addition to Sunday morning classes, Confirmation students also meet monthly with a parent and Pastor Sarah on Monday nights to reinforce Sunday lessons and get parents and kids growing in faith together.
- High school youth gather informally for a time called “Coffee and Conversation” from 9:30 am -10:15 am where they share their highs and lows, ask and answer questions about life and faith, and help each other apply faith to their daily lives.
Kid’s Church at the 10:30am worship service!!!!
Kids Church is a time of worship and fellowship designed for kids ages 4 – 6 years old that happens during the sermon (kids are invited out of the sanctuary following the Time With Children). Before and after the sermon, kids are with their families in worship; there are kid’s bulletins and “quiet bags” in the corner of the sanctuary under the large cross.
The nursery welcomes children ages 0-3 years old during Sunday school, worship, and for most special events like family meetings.
On Sunday school mornings (see dates below), the nursery doors are open from 9:30 am – 12 pm; from 9:30 am – 10:15 am, parents are welcome to hang out in the nursery and get to know each other over coffee and conversation (coffee provided). On non-Sunday school mornings, the nursery is open from 10:15 am – 12:00 pm.
