As you know, Peace’s buildings are closed as we encourage social distancing and do our part to stop the spread of the virus.
I recognize that it is difficult not to have in-person worship or gatherings. Christians are wired to come together in times of crisis, be fed by God’s word, and be sent in service. The amazing thing is – in the past week that has all happened. Our online worship services have reached hundreds of people; core ministry teams have met, and the body of Christ is alive in the world through you.
As we say in our banner: The building is closed but our church is active.
We think we’ve settled into somewhat of a new routine, though things will be added and tweaked and who knows what tomorrow will bring? The church council will meet every Tuesday night for the foreseeable future in order to guide the church through this time.
