Summer Worship Series: Saint and Sinner
July 24 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Have you ever wondered what it really means that you are part of a Lutheran church? It’s more than that your church can trace its heritage to a German monk 500 years ago who started a big church fight. Lutherans have a rich history of theology, aka God-talk, that influences how we live our Christian faith.
This summer, Pastor Sarah will preach on some “Lutheran Lenses.” These are some particularly Lutheran ways of seeing the good news of Jesus that help us live with freedom, love, grace and purpose. There are more, of course. But these will help us get to the heart of Christianity and appreciate why our identity as Lutheran Christians is a gift and a grace.
After worship each of these Sundays, we will have an in-person Q&A session about how to apply these themes to our everyday lives.
