Greetings and thank you for such a warm welcome to this community. I am excited to join you in this interim time and continue to support you in the mission of, “Sharing God’s love, growing in faith, and creating community.” To this end, I wanted to let you know how you can reach me in the coming days and weeks if you need or want to talk, visit, pray, etc. As of now, I intend to keep general office hours of Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These could
vary depending on home or hospital visits, off-site meetings, attendance at scheduled ministry programs, etc.

I will be sharing my office some days with my furry office mate, my dog Chewbacca, a.k.a. Chewie. She is a friendly Schnauzer mix who loves human attention, but I respect that not all are comfortable around pets. So, if you would like to visit and would prefer Chewie not be present, we can schedule a visit ahead of time, so I know to make other arrangements for her. Too, not everyone is comfortable meeting in the “Pastor’s Office.” I know, it can feel almost like going to the principal’s office. I’m happy to meet with people out in the community over tea or coffee, lunch/dinner, in their homes, at the park, etc.

To schedule a visit, you can call the office during my office hours, or just call the office and leave a message for mailbox #1. You can reach out via email, pastor@sharingpeace.org. Please note, I check my emails regularly M-Th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. but do not check these on Fridays as a Sabbath Day practice. Weekend messages are checked sporadically until 7:00 p.m. each night. Emergencies will be addressed immediately, or in the timeliest fashion possible depending on other circumstances.

As your Interim Pastor, there may be certain goals I have been covenanted to work on while here (I’ll share that in coming e-news), but I am still here to be your Pastor and to help care for you and this community in times of need. May the grace of God, the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!
